Our focus
A focused product approach to everyday health and care.
Kurentis focuses on non-pharmaceutical healthcare products. We assess opportunities in cosmetics and medical devices in relation to user needs and preparation for Türkiye.
Category, area of need and intended purpose are distinct dimensions of our assessment. Products addressing a similar area may have different characteristics. We therefore start with the individual product.
Our priority product categories
- Cosmetics
Cosmetics and dermocosmetic care
We assess products for daily skin care and moisturising routines, considering the finished formulation, sensory characteristics, packaging and supporting information alongside the ingredients.
Our approach centres on explaining the product’s purpose clearly: how it relates to a care need, how it fits into a routine and what supports the statements made about it.
- Medical devices
Medical devices for everyday use
We assess device opportunities in skin, ocular surface and nasal care through the manufacturer’s intended purpose, technical documentation, clinical evidence and conditions of use.
Application and user information are considered alongside quality, supply and preparation responsibilities for Türkiye. We value an assessment that connects technical characteristics with how the product would be presented to users.
Our priority areas of need
Skin care and skin barrier care needs
We explore opportunities relating to daily skin care, moisturising routines and differing care expectations. We consider the fit between formulation and intended need, available information on use and suitability for everyday routines.
We look beyond a single ingredient to the finished product, its application and the extent to which the available information supports it.
- Assessment focus
- Formulation, finished-product evidence, use characteristics, packaging and clear care information.
Ocular surface and eye contour care
We treat medical devices applied to the ocular surface and cosmetic products for the eye contour as distinct areas. We consider each product in relation to its application site and defined intended purpose.
- Assessment focus
- Application area, product format, packaging system, instructions for use and product-specific technical and scientific information.
Nasal care
For non-pharmaceutical nasal care opportunities, we value a clear description of the need and intended purpose. Application system, formulation and everyday conditions of use are considered together.
- Assessment focus
- Intended purpose, ease of application, formulation, conditions of use and user information.
A coherent portfolio
We consider both an individual product’s potential and its role within the portfolio we aim to develop. Our ambition is to build a complementary selection that addresses defined needs.
Entry into an additional category or area of need would be considered against its supporting information, user relevance and a feasible business model.
